#1) The Magic Of Making Up

The magic of making up is billed mainly as an ebook by T. W. Jackson (he goes by T-Dub - says it's a long story - we didn't ask...) but it really is a lot more than that. This one really surprised us when we first checked it out.

It is not just the one book described on the page, but rather several books, which generally compliment one another. The primary book contains the entire system, and is excellent on its own. Two of the other three compliment the system very well, and are the reason this gets our highest rating.

(One book T-Dub includes with this system had us scratching our heads. I'm sure you'll understand which one we mean if you decide to get this. It is a good book also, but we don't understand the connection. Maybe we should just ask him? :) )

There is also an option to get the audio version of the book, which is very convenient if you want to listen to it on your iPod or whatever.

#2) Save My Marriage Today

The first thing that struck us about this system is that the author, Amy Waterman, offers a six part email series on the 6 most common reasons for divorce and how to stop them from happening to you. You can sign up for this free information at the web site.

The second thing that struck us is the number of seemingly unrelated books you get to go along with the save my marriage system. We now understand that health and happiness are important for the long term health of your relationship, and we can only assume that is the reason these are included.

Overall, this did not match up to the straight-forward information in the Magic of Making Up (see review above.) This system seems to be a little bit more generic and doesn't address as many of the gender specific issues as we would have liked to see.

Also, this system is more geared toward marriages specifically, though most of the information is useful in any relationship.

This book by Matt Huston is an interesting twist on the save my relationship series in that it is geared only toward women who want to get back with their boyfriend. The book is also known as Get Him Back Forever.

The fact that it is gender specific, when we were first reviewing these systems, would have led us to believe that it would be far superior to the other books we were reviewing. After all, when you get down to being more directly related to your reader, you can cover the topic in so much more depth.

The reason that this one (and the book below, by the same author) are at the end of our list here is not because the information isn't good, because it is. The issue is more of the tone. We felt that the tone of this book felt just a bit too agressive. Not quite to the point of stalker-ish, but definitely agressive and even a little bit negative.

If your personality is more agressive and you are more likely to want to try psychological mind tricks, then this may be perfect for you.

#3) Get Your Girlfriend Back

As mentioned in the previous review, this book is also by Matt Huston. This one is the other side of the coin in that it is geared only toward men who want to get back with their girlfriend.

We felt this was similar to the book above in that we were not crazy about the tone, again being a bit too agressive. This one actually seemed even more agressive than the one above, but that may be because men tend to be more agressive by nature.

The main book, also known as the Ex2 (Ex squared) System, includes the audio version. This makes it convenient to bring with you on your MP3 player. It also includes some notes on the system as a reference, which is nice once you have read through it once.

There is also a book called Train Your Girlfriend, which is supposed to help keep you from getting dumped in the future. This again touches on being maybe just a bit too agressive, but you can be the judge.

As above, if your personality is more agressive and you are more likely to want to try psychological mind tricks, then this may be perfect for you.
